That being said, I just prefer to actually enjoy my free time as opposed to watching paint dry.I will discuss how and why things are done in real football. However, as it stands now, I have bills to pay and real responsibilities. If I could play multiple games per day as some do, I would have no issue with having my time wasted. I am one of those grown-ups playing a game as life permits me to do so. Unlike many gamers here, my free time is sporadic and hard to come by. However, if you take 1 snap every 40 seconds - that game is a total waste of my free time. I'm the first to congratulate him on the W. If a good player mops the floor with me while actually playing the game, I have absolutely no issues with that. However, picking up a first here and there is to be expected. If you think your defense is rock solid, send me your tag, play me in an unranked game (for the sake of proving my point only) and I will poke holes in your defense. Anyone at any given time can get a first and just because your defense is solid does not mean you will stop the first every drive. Quick play is a douchetrap, I haven't done quick play since I can remember, such a waste of time.įor those saying play defense, I do play D. There's only been a handful of times where the guy said he didn't play like an ass, and did anyway. I've had alot of success finding good people to play against this way.

Plus you can just ask him right then and there if he does stuff like that, and usually they'll tell you. I get alot of invites that way, and you can tell 99% of the time if the guy is going to play like an asshole just by the way he greets you, or the conversation in the team select screen. To weed out the dickheads, I go into a lobby and have a set message of something like 'No cheesers, no BS, sim players, mic only'. If I was playing for money or something, I'd do it for sure, but in an online ranked game? No way. Pretty much any other reason and you're a douchebag in my opinion. I'll run every play of the game if the other guy can't stop it, but the only time I purposefully run down the play clock to 1 is if I'm doing it to get to the half, or in the 4th quarter and there's under 3 minutes left to play. Excuse my rant but if you've read this far, thanks for the time. You have the option to at least take it from him or something. At least then, you can actually do something if the guy is just sitting on the ball. I'm really thinking about moving on to another sport. what keeps you coming back for more? For me, it used to be the competition but that satisfaction has taken a nosedive.

I try not to get into Quick Matches anymore and won't get into games with guys with a DNF higher than 15% yet, it still doesn't weed out the vast majority of losers. It's so hard to get into an honorable game of football with so many children with access to LIVE. It really seems like the amount of quality players are very few and far between now. I always have this lingering feeling in the back of my head as if I'll get trapped inside another 'lets watch the paint dry' experience.

At that point, I don't even feel like playing anymore. By the time the game is over, you feel drained to get out of that waste of time. At that point, the entire first quarter is gone. The sad thing is there's nothing you can do but sit there and make him go 3 and out. Late in the game - understood but mannnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!! His very first drive, what does he do? Sits on the ball until his clock hits one on every single down. I mean, what is the point? I feel like it's a total waste of my time to play a guy that comes out and receives the ball first. As the title states - they really should play something else like checkers or battleship.
